A. Grammar
I. Trạng từ chỉ thời gian still (vẫn, vẫn còn): có 2 vị trí trong câu:
a. Đứng giữa chủ ngữ và động từ thường
 Ex: Her parents still live in Hue.
 Do you still go to school by bus?
b. Đứng sau động từ be:
 Ex: I am still a student
 He is still sick.
II. Addition or agreements ( phần thêm vào hay sự đồng ý) : để diễn tả sự đồng ý hay sự tương đồng
1. Too : được viết ở cuối câu
 Ex: I am a student , and he is ,too.
 I can swim , I can, too.
2. So : được viết ở đầu câu và đảo ngữ
 Ex: I can speak English . So , do I.
Chú ý : - trong câu nói có động từ ‘to be’ , động từ khuyết thiếu thì phần thêm vào cũng dùng lại động từ đó.
 S + V + O
 S + V , too ( so + V + S )
Ex : I am a doctor
 I am , too ( so am I )
- Câu nói trước có động từ thường thì phần thêm vào mượn trợ động từ “do hoặc does” : S + V + O
 S + do/does , too ( So + do/does + S)
 Ex : I like beer
 I do,too ( So do I)
III. Từ chỉ lượng bất định
1. Many, much (nhiều )
a. Many : dùng với danh từ đếm được số nhiều
 Ex : I have many new books
b. much : dùng với danh từ không đếm được
 Ex : My mother has much money
2. A lot of , lots of , plenty of (nhiều ) : được dùng để thay cho many và much . Có nghĩa là được dùng với dt đếm được và dt không đếm được.
 Ex : -There are a lot of flowers in the park
There is a lot of meat in the fridge
