1) The past simple tense (Thì quá khứ đơn)
+) Use: Diễn tả một thói quen trong quá khứ. Một hành động đã hoàn tất tại một thời điểm xác định trong quá khứ, không còn liên quan đến hiện tại.
+) Form : 
* Động từ thường: 
 (+) S + V(ed) + O
 Ex : He went to the zoo last Sunday 
 (-) S + didn’t + V + O
 Ex : He didn’t go to the zoo last Sunday .
 (?) Did + S + V + O ?

+) Use: Diễn tả 1 thói quen, 1 hành động xảy ra thường xuyên ở hiện tại.

3) The present progressive tense (Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn)
+) Use : Diễn tả một hành động đang xảy ra vào đúng lúc nói.
+) Form : (+) S + is/are/am + V-ing 
 Ex: She is speaking English 
 (-) S + is/ are/am + not + V-ing .
 Ex : She is not speaking English 
 (?) Is / are / am + S + V-ing ?
 Ex : Is she speaking English ? Yes, she is 
 No, She isn’t
+) Adverbs : Now ; right now; at the moment ; at this time, at present.
+) Cách thêm “ing” vào sau động từ.
+ Đối với hầu hết các động từ ta chỉ thêm “ing” vào sau động từ đó.
Ex: sleep – sleeping go – going wait – waiting 
+ đối với động từ tận cùng bằng “e”, ta bỏ “e” rồi thêm “ing”.
Ex: love – loving drive – driving write – writing 
+ Tuy nhiên với động từ tận cùng là “ee” ta vẫn giữ nguyên 
Ex: see – seeing free – freeing
+ Đối với một số động từ ta phải gấp đôi phụ âm cuối trước khi thêm “ing”
Ex: stop – stopping run – running 
4) The future simple tense (Thì tương lai đơn)
+) Use: Dùng để diễn tả một hành động trong tương lai, sự việc này có thể xảy ra hoặc không chắc chắn sẽ xảy ra.
+) Form : (+) S + will/shall + V .
 Ex : She will go to work by bus tomorrow.
 (-) S + will/shall + not + V
 Ex : She won’t go to work by bus tomorrow.
 (?) will/shall + S + V ? 
 Ex :Will She go to work by bus tomorrow ?	
+) Dấu hiệu nhận biết: Tomorrow, next, in the future
5) Hái gi¸ c¶:
How much is it? = How does it cost? ( gi¸ bao nhiªu?)
6) Hái kho¶ng c¸ch:
How far is it from the shoes store to the mini mart?
It’s 500 meters.
Form: How far is/are + S+ from + N + to + N ?
 It is + sè + meters/kilometers.
7) Prepositions of position: (Giới từ chỉ vị trí, nơi trốn)
- Thường đứng trước các danh từ hoặc cụm danh từ.
in : bên trong
+ in + tên tỉnh/thành phố/ nước (in Lai Châu/ In Viet nam)
+ in + tháng/ năm (in may/ in 2011)
+ in the morning/ afternoon/ evening
+ in the middle of: ở giữa
on: Trên
+ on + thứ trong tuần (on Monday), ngày trong tháng.
+ on + a/ the: phương tiện giao thông
+ on + tên con phố (on Trân Hung Dao street)
+ on the first/ second floor: ở tầng thứ nhất/ hai

8) More: nhiÒu h¬n + Danh tõ
Less : Ýt h¬n + N ko ®Õm ®­îc
Fewer : Ýt h¬n + N ®Õm ®­îc
Eg: Now, there are more eggs and juice. There is less milk. There is fewer banana.
9) Why?- T¹i sao? -> Because + S + V.
Eg: Why does his tooth hurt?
	Because he has a cavity.
10) Hái c©n nÆng:

11) Hái chiÒu cao:
