I. Grammar:
1. The present simple tense:
Thì hiện tại đơn diễn tả hành động diễn ra ở hiện tại, thói quen, trạng thái
Cách dùng:
- Where do you work?
- The store opens at 9 o'clock.
- She lives in New York. 
Thói quen thường xuyên và hàng ngày
I usually get up at 7 o'clock.
She doesn't often go to the cinema.
When do they usually have lunch?

The Earth revolves around the Sun.
What does 'strange' mean?

Các từ, cụm từ đi kèm: 
usually, always, often, sometimes, on Saturdays, at weekends (on weekends US English), rarely, on occasion, never, seldom 
Cấu trúc:
Khẳng định
Trong dạng khẳng định, thêm 's' vào sau động từ nguyên thể đối với ngôi thứ 3 số ít. Nếu động từ kết thúc bằng  -y , trước đó là phụ âm thì biến -y thành -ies. 
I, You, We, They -> eat lunch at noon. 
He, She, It -> works well in any situation. 
Phủ định
Thêm trợ động từ 'do' not (don't và doesn't) vào câu để tạo thành dạng phủ định
I, You, We, They -> don't enjoy opera. 
He, She, It -> doesn't belong to the club. 
Nghi vấn
Thêm trợ động từ 'do' (do hoặc does) vào để tạo thành dạng câu hỏi. 
Do -> I, you, we, they -> work in this town? 
Does -> he, she, it -> live in this city? 
2. The future simple tense:
Công thức thể khẳng định:
S + WILL + Động từ nguyên mẫu + Bổ ngữ.
- Viết tắt "Chủ ngữ + WILL": + I WILL = I'LL
+ WE WILL = WE'LL
+ YOU WILL = YOU'LL
+ THEY WILL = THEY'LL
+ HE WILL = HE'LL
+ SHE WILL = SHE'LL
+ IT WILL = IT'LL 
E.g:
+  I WILL HELP YOU. = Tôi sẽ giúp bạn.
+ SHE WILL CALL YOU WHEN SHE ARRIVES. (Cô ấy sẽ gọi điện cho bạn khi cô ấy đến nơi). 
* Công thức thể phủ định:
S+ WILL + NOT + Động từ nguyên mẫu + Bổ ngữ.
- Viết tắt 
+ WILL NOT = WON'T 
- Nhấn mạnh phủ định:
+ Ta có thể thay NOT bằng NEVER để nhấn mạnh ý phủ định. 
- Thí dụ:
+ I WILL NOT HELP HIM AGAIN.= Tôi sẽ không giúp nó nữa.
+ I WILL NEVER HELP HIM AGAIN. = Tôi sẽ không bao giờ giúp nó nữa. 
* Công thức thể nghi vấn:
WILL + Chủ ngữ + Động từ nguyên mẫu + Bổ ngữ ? 
- Thí dụ: 
+  WILL YOU BE AT THE PARTY TONIGHT? = Tối nay bạn sẽ có mặt ở buổi tiệc hay không?
- Câu hỏi WH:
+ Ta chỉ cần thêm ừ WH trước công thức trên để đặt câu hỏi WH.
WHEN WILL YOU GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY? = Khi nào bạn sẽ trở về nước? 
* Khi nào dùng thì tương lai đơn ?
- Khi muốn diễn tả một hành động mà người nói quyết định thực hiện ngay khi nói.
+ I AM SO HUNGRY. I WILL MAKE MYSELF A SANDWICH. = Tôi đói bụng quá. Tôi sẽ tự đi làm cho mình cái bánh mì sandwich.
- Khi muốn diễn tả một lời hứa
+ (I PROMISE) I WILL NOT TELL ANYONE ELSE ABOUT YOUR SECRET. = (Tôi hứa) tôi sẽ không nói cho ai biết về bí mật của bạn. 
- Khi muốn diễn tả một dự đoán về tương lai.
+ IT WILL RAIN TOMORROW. = Ngày mai trời sẽ mưa.

I. Grammar:
1. Past simple tense:
. * Cách đọc động từ quá khứ đơn với “ed”.
-“ed” được đọc là /t/ khi những động từ nguyên mẫu có âm tận cùng là /f/, /k/, /p/, /t /, /s/, / /.
Ví dụ: 	laughed, asked, helped, washed, pushed, dressed.
-“ed” được đọc là /Id/ khi ngững động từ nguyên mẫu có âm tận cùng là /d/ và /t/.
Ví dụ: 	needed, wanted, waited, added.
-“ed” được đọc là /d/ khi những động từ nguyên mẫu tận cùng là các âm còn lại.
Ví dụ: 	enjoyed, saved, arrived, filled
2. Present progressive tense:
* cấu tạo: S + AM/ IS/ ARE + V-ing
* Cách dung: Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn diễn tả một hành động đang xảy ra tại lúc nói trong hiện tại.
Ví dụ: She is listening to music at the moment
* Lưu ý: - Hiện tại phân từ được thành lập bằng cách them “ing” vào sau dạng nguyên thể của động từ.
- Có một số động từ tận cùng bằng “e” câm , ta phải bỏ “e” này đi trước khi them “ing” vào sau động.
Ví dụ: to write-> writing 	to drive-> driving
- Đối với một số động từ ta phải gấp đôi phụ âm cuối trước khi thêm “ing” vào động từ.
Ví dụ: run -> running	begin -> beginning
- Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn thường được dùng kèm với các trạng từ “now, right now, at the moment, at present” để nhấn mạnh tính chất đang tiến hành của hành dộng ngay lúc nói. 
- Các thể của hiện tại tiếp diễn
Khẳng định: S + am/ is/ are + V-ing
Phủ dịnh: S + am/ is/ are + not + V-ing
Nghi vấn: Am/ is/ are + S + V –ing?
Ví dụ: He’s answering the telephone.

I. Grammar:
1. More, less and fewer:
To make comparison with nouns, you can use "more" for a larger amount or "less" and "fewer" for a smaller amount depending on the type of nouns. 
- Use "fewer" with count nouns.
- Use "less" with noncount nouns.
- Let consider "more" first.
- I don't have enough pencils. I have two pencils. I need five pencils.
- So I can say: I need more pencils.
- "More" goes front of the noun "pencils".. This is a count noun.
- I don't have enough rice. "Rice" is a noncount noun.. There's no "s" at the end of this word.
- I need more rice.
- Using" fewer" and "less"
- The opposite of "more" is "less" used with noncount nouns or "fewer used with count nouns.
- In this sentence: I have too many books in my hand.. The word "book" is a count noun.
- To make a plural I use the "s" after the "book". And the word "many": too many books.
- I have too many books in my hand.
- I should have fewer books.
- "Fewer" is used with count nouns as the opposite of "more".
- In this sentence: I drink too much coffee.
- "Coffee" is a noncount noun. . So I want to use the word "much": "too much coffee" that's not a good thing.
- So I should drink less coffee... "Less" is used with noncount nouns as the opposite of "more".
- Practice using "more"
- I don't have enough apples. I need more apples.
- We're low on milk. We need more milk.
- She doesn't have a lot of time. She needs more time.
- Practice using "fewer" and "less"
- I bought too many apples. I should have bought fewer apples.
- I put too much milk into the recipe. Next time I'll put in less milk.
- It's take a lot of time to learn English. I wish it took less time.
