II. Checking up previous lesson.
1. – Write the new words.
 - Making suggestions.

2. Call 3 Ss to do on the board.
3. Remark, correct and give marks.
III. New lesson.
1. Introduction: Today, you’ll review present progressive, time and subjects vocabulary by doing exercises. 
3. Present progressive tense (Exercise 1- Language focus 2- P. 68) 
- Remind form present progressive tense.
+ S + Am/ Is/ Are + V-ing+ O.
- S + Am/ Is/ Are + not + V-ing + O.
? Am/ Is/ Are + S +V-ing + O?
- Have Ss do exercise 1.
- Modal the first gap.
- Have Ss work individually to do.
- Call some Ss to practise
- Correct Ss’ mistakes.
Ex: a. is doing; 
3. This/ That/ These/ Those: Exercise 2- Language focus 2- P. 68. 
- Remind Ss how to use:This/ That/ These/ Those
- Have Ss practice in pairs to complete the dialogue.
- Call some pairs of Ss to practice.
- Correct Ss’ mistakes. 
4. Time: Exercise 3- Language focus 2- P. 68. 
- Have Ss write the correct time.
- Get feedback and correct.
Ex: a. nine forty
5. Subjects vocabulary: Exercise 4- Language focus 2- P. 68. * Matching.
- Have Ss look at the pictures and match the pictures with the correct subjects.
- Have Ss do in teams.
- Get feedback and correct.
Ex: a. Physical Education.
IV. Consolidation.
* Put the verbs in the correct form.
1. He always (go) to school by bus.
2. They (visit) me tomorrow.
3. Van and Hoa (do) their homework now
- Get feedback and correct.
V. Homework.
- Review unit 3 to 6.
- Prepare for the test.

- Monitor answers:
- Write the new words.

- Listen
- Give form and uses of present progressive tense.
- Take note.
- Work individually to do put the verbs in the correct form.
- Compare with the parners.
- Practise orally.
