1. Warm Up :
T hangs the letter on the board and asks ss to read it in silently then answer the questions:how many parts are there in the letter?what are they?
Ss read and answer. 
T calls some ss to give the answer.

2.Pre- writing:
T leads into the new lesson.
T gives the definition of aspeech.
Ss listen.
T asks some questions to implicit the funtions of the parts a speech. 
*Matching:
T hangs the subboard on the board.
T asks ss to work individually,match each part of a 
speech in column A to a suitable function in column B
Ss match A with B. 
T gives correct.
*Ordering:
T hangs the subboard on the board.
T gives the new word.
T asks ss to work in pairs,put the sections in the correct place to complete a speech.

5. Homework:
Ask ss to copy down one of the speech in their notebooks.

Definition of a speech:it is the act of delivering a formal spoken communication to an audience.a speech usually has 3 parts :Introduction,Body,and Conclusion.
