A. Teaching aims : Helps Ss to practice in food vocabulary & using “TOO / SO ” to talk about preferences. By the end of this lesson, Ss will able to talk about their preferences.

 pineapple (n); durian (n); papaya (n);

* Grammar: “TOO / SO ” to talk about preferences.

• Student's : Picture on page 114.

D. Teaching procedure :

1. Greeting & checking absence ( 1 M ):

- Greeting in English.

- Absence: 7A: 7B:

2. Warm - up or Revision ( 5M): Jumbled words.

LET’S EAT !
WHAT SHALL WE EAT ? – A1-2.
Teaching aims : Helps Ss to practice in food vocabulary & using “TOO / SO ” to talk about preferences. By the end of this lesson, Ss will able to talk about their preferences.
 Target language :
* Vocabulary : pork (n); spinach (n); cucumber (n); 
 pineapple (n); durian (n); papaya (n);
* Grammar: “TOO / SO ” to talk about preferences.

Teacher's : Lesson plan: word cue; poster; picture on page 114.
Student's : Picture on page 114. 
D. Teaching procedure :
1. Greeting & checking absence ( 1 M ):
- Greeting in English.
- Absence: 7A: 7B: 
2. Warm - up or Revision ( 5M): Jumbled words.
- Asks Ss to put the letters into the right order to form the correct words.
 TMRCARTO = CARROT; LEVETAGEB = VEGETABLE; APE = PEA; 
 NKECHIC = CHICKEN; TM EA = MEAT; FEEB = BEEF; 
- Corrects S’s pronunciation & comments.
 3. New lesson :

PRESENTATION
- Introduces the words by explaining the meaning, using the situation & gives example.
- Reads the words for the modal (3 times ). Then helps Ss to repeat ( 2 times ).
- Checks S’s reading in individual & corrects the mistakes.
- Writes the words on the Bb & checks the meaning & the pronunciation.
- Corrects & asks Ss to copy the words.
- Introduces & Helps Ss to listen to the dialogue & practice the dialogue in pairs.
- Corrects S’s pronunciation & comments.
- Introduces the model sentence & explains the form & use of the past simple tense.
Time: 15 M .
1 Vocabulary: ROR.

- Repeating the words in chorus & in individual & Correcting the mistakes
- Giving the meaning & the pronunciation.
- Copying the words.
2. Presentation dialogue: A1/P114&115.
- Practicing the dialogue in pairs
-Correcting the pronunciation. 
*Model sentence:
 S1: I like beef.
 S2: I like, too. / So do I.
PRACTICE
- Introduces the example exchange & Helps Ss to practice.
- Reads the first model for example & asks Ss to repeat in chorus & in individual.
- Asks Ss to make sentences for the next.
- Practices with Ss & checks S’s practicing in groups & in pairs & Corrects.

4. Word cue drill: 
- Repeating in chorus & in individual.
- Making sentences for the next cues.
- Practicing in groups & in pairs .
- Correcting the pronunciation.
* Example exchange:

 S2: Tom likes spinach, too.
 So does Tom.
PRODUCTION
- Introduces the requirement & asks Ss to work in pairs ask & answer these questions & take note their preferences into the table.
a. Do you like ? - Yes, I do.
b. Does he like  ? - So does he.
- Asks Ss to report their information using the model:
* Nam likes pork & so does Lan
- Corrects & comments.
Time: 10 M.
5. Survey: B2- P111.
- Working in pairs to ask & take note their preferences into the table.

- Reporting the information, using the model:
