1.Warm up:
 - ask Ss some questions about themselves 
+ answer
2.pre-writing:
- introduce the situation with a reference to the letter of Hoa’s mother 
+ answer the questions
- show the letter of Hoa to her mom
+ guess what Hoa wrote in the letter
- teach some vocabulary
3.While-writing: 
+ read through the letter to catch the over all meaning
+ read the letter again and find the appropriate form of verbs to fill in the blanks 
+ give the answer
- remark
+ read the letter in front of the class 
4.post-writing:
+ write remember in their exercise book
- remind sts of the usage of the simple past 
+ read aloud the verbs
5.Homework :
