I. Objectives
By the end of the period, students can talk about temperature, height and weight.

2. Grammar
 Review the previous structures.

Skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing

Teacher’s and students’ activities

 1.Warm up 
Ss: look at the picture in part A.1 and answer the questions.
T: ask the questions.
2. Presentation
Ss: listen to the tape part A.1 once.
Ss: repeat the dialog once.
Ss: pick up some new words from the dialog.
T: help the students understand some new words and explain them on the board.
Ss: repeat the new words after the teacher. (choral and individuals)
Ss: listen to the tape twice more and repeat.
Ss: read the dialog in silence to get information.
Ss: some read again the dialog loudly.
 3. Practice
Ss: work in group of four. Number the sentences.
Feedback: students give answers of their groups. (write on the board)
T: help students correct.
 4. Comprehension check
Ss: some students read the sentences again in correct orders.

Ss: do a multiple choice about Hoa.
T: prepare some sentences.
2. Presentation
Ss: read the open dialog once.

Ss: listen to the tape three times more and write the missing words to complete the dialog.
Ss: some complete the dialog on the board.
Ss: listen to the tape once more to check the answers.
Ss: read the completed dialog 
Ss: two pairs play roles of Hoa and the doctor and read the dialog again.
 3. Practice
T: help students understand the requirement of part A.3.
Ss: work in pair, ask and answer the questions to get information and complete the medical records.
Ss: two students write their form on the board and the whole class compare.

Ss: fill in the table with the information they get from their friends.

Ss: listen once more and check the answers.
