- By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to practice reading skills for specific information – known a balanced diet.

- Grammar: Simple past tense.

- Pictures, chart, real things.

Procedures: Stages And Activities Contents 1. Warm up : + presents the words on the board, erase them - skim the words and rewrite them 2. Presentation - introduces (asking) + answer - present vocabulary on the board then practice them. + look , copy down and practice reading in choral & individual - Checking vocabularies. 3. Practice: - play the tape + listen and read + read aloud + read and try to answer then compare with partner . + work in pairs ,answer the questions 4.Production: - explain the task + write a menu for yourself and your family, including details of breakfast, lunch and dinner + give the answer - remark + write remember 5. Homework + study the lesson + do the exercise B3,B4( work book)78.79 + prepare Language focus 4 Kim’s game: food, sugar, healthy, meat, fruit, eat, remember, like * Questions: - What food do you like to eat? - What do you like to drink? - Is there sugar in many kinds of food? - Is sugar a healthy food? - What does sugar give you? - What does a balanced diet mean? B2. Listen and read.
