2. Presentation
Ss: look at pictures in part A.1 and guess where they are.
Ss: name the places of the pictures.
T: help the students.
Ss: listen to the tape part A.2 and read the dialogues twice.
T: help the students understand some new words from the dialogues.
Ss: read the new words.
Play roles: T Ss, Ss Ss, S S
 Ss: read in silence to get information.
3. Practice
 Ss: - work in pair, ask and answer the ways to somewhere. 
 Feedback: some pairs practice in front of the class.
 4. Comprehension check
T: point at the pictures in part A.1 and ask where they are.
Ss: look at the pictures and answer.

Ss: some pairs do in front of the class.
Ss: listen to the tape and find out the places they hear about.
Ss: repeat the dialogue in part A.4 after the teacher twice.
T: help them recall the question with “How far” and give example.

 Ss: - work in pair, ask and answer the distances between Hanoi to some cities. Use the table in part A.5
