I. Objectives: By the end of the lesson,
- Students will be able to use descriptive adjectives to describe people.
- They also know how to introduce and greet one another.

- Play a game Networks: Write as many descriptive adjectives as possible.
Pre-speaking 
- T sets the scene: In daily life, we always have to communicate with other people. So it is very important to know the adjectives and structures describing a person’s appearance. we will deal with this matter.
-T gives the new words and structures.
-Practice vocabulary. 
-Check vocabulary.
While-speaking 
-Ss practice the dialogue.
- Each student takes turn to describe each picture, the other tries to guess who he/she is.
- Some pairs practice in front of class.
- T corrects their pronunciation.
Post-speaking 
- Play the game: Guessing games
- One student describes one of his classmates. 
-The other guesses who he / she is.
Pre-listening 
-T revises some ways of introduction.

- Instructions: We are going to listen to 4 dialogues illustrating different situations. Each dialogue has some missing information. You listen to the tape and complete the dialogue

They compare with what they have filled.

 - Develop their writing skill.

2.Skills : +Main skills : reading skill (scanning and skimming) to get information in the text.
3.Educational aims : - Know the form of a friendly letter and the way of writing it.

III. Teaching aids: flash cards.

Recap:
 One student reads the first passage then answer the questions. 
Warm up:
 -T asks Sts some questions to introduce the purpose of the lesson.
- Have you written a letter?

Pre-writing
-Devide class into groups of 4
-Provided each group with a letter which is cut into 4 parts.
-Ask the students to arrange these parts into a complete letter
-T gives the correct answer.
-Explain the details in the letter.
While-writing
-Ask students to read the letter above then identify the parts of it. 
-Call a student to answer.
-Teacher gives the correct answer
-Ask the students some questions
-Students answer
-Sts read the cues words and compare with the above letter.
-Each student writes individually then compare with their friend’s.

 In a few weeks we’re going to celebrate the Mid – Autumn in Vietnam. I am going to Ha Long Bay with my uncle and aunt by bus this afternoon and I’m going to stay there with them until after the festival. I’ll send you a postcard from there.
