Tuesday 2. Wednesday 3. Thursday 4. Friday 5. Saturday 6. Sunday - Ask Ss to practice new words. - Set the scene: Lan is talking to Nam about her classmate. - Put the dialogue on the board. Some of the words are missing. - Ask Ss to guess what the missing words are. - Ask Ss questions: + Does Lan have math on Friday? - Explain the notes “does not”, give srtucture. S + has + subjects S + does not have + subjects 3. Practice: (15’) - Put Ly’s timetable on the board - Run through the timetable. - Point to and say the model sentences. + When does she have math ? + She has it on Monday, Thursday and Friday. - Call some pairs to practice. - Correct their mistakes. 4. Production: (10’) - Get Ss to fill in their real timetable - Get them to practice in pairs: + When do you have math? + I have math on .............................. - Get feedback. 5. Homework: (3’) - Ask students to learn by heart vocabulary and “ has / doesn’t have” to talk about the timetable Prepare next lesson: “Grammar Practice”/ p. 60, 61 - Group works. - Listen and write. - Practice new words. - Listen to the teacher. - Read the dialogue. - Guess what the missing words are. - Answer: No, she doesn’t have math on Friday. She has it on Saturday. - Listen and write. - Read the timetable silently. - Say the subjects in English. - Practice in pairs. e.g.“Lan has math on But she doesn’t have it on - Some pairs practice in front. - Listen. - Fill in their real timetable - Practice in pairs. - Give the answer.
