PROCEDURES: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities 1. Warm - up: (5’) - Ask Ss play game “Bingo” river lake house tree flower park yard hotel 2 .Pre - reading: (15’) - Ask Ss to look at the picture. - Introduce some new words: 1. a lake (n) 2. a river (n) 3. trees (n) 4. flowers (n) 5. a rice paddy (n) 6. a park (n) - Ask Ss to practice the new words. - Show Ss the things and ask Ss to write three things in their books. + What’s near Thuy’s house? 3. While - reading: (10’) - Ask Ss to read the text and check their prediction. - Ask Ss to reread the text by themselves. - Have Ss match. The teams take turn to choose the numbers. - Tell Ss that they have to answer the questions . 1. c). Homework: (5’) - Ask Ss to learn by heart vocabulary. Prepare next lesson: Unit 6: A 4, 5, 6/p. 64 - Work in teams. - Look at the picture. - Listen and write. - Repeat after the teacher. - Write: a lake, a river, a park - Write three things in their books. - Read the text and check. - Match. - Listen to the teacher. - Work in pairs. - Work in teams. - Take turn to choose the numbers. - Answer the questions.
