PROCEDURES: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities 1. Warm - Up:(5’) - Let Ss listen, then shout “Bingo” hotel country rice paddy river city river lake 2 .Presentation: (12’) - Introduce some new words: 1. town (n) 2. village (n) - Ask Ss practice the new words. - Show Ss the things and ask: + What’s near Thuy’s house? - Ask ss to write three things in their books. 3. Practice (13’): - Have Ss look at the picture. - Give the model sentences: +There’s a hotel near our house. + They are trees near our house. - Have Ss practice in pairs. - Ask students to play “ Guessing game.” - Write some words on the board. - Get a student to go to the board and choose one word, another students ask questions. + a park + a hotel + a river + a rice paddy + a school 4. Production: (10’) - Do the model. + There is a hotel near our house. - Ask Ss to write 4 - 6 sentenses about their place. 5. Homework: (5’) - Ask Ss to learn by heart vocabulary and Simple present tense. Prepare next lesson: Unit 6 – B1, 2, 3/p. 66 - Shouts “Bingo”. - Listen and write. - Repeat after the teacher. - Answer questions. - Look at the picture. - Listen to the teacher. - Practice in pairs. - Play game. - Look at the board. - Choose word; ask questions. * St1: What is there near ? * St2: Is there a park near? * St1:Yes, there is / No, there isn’t. - Listen to the teacher. - Individual work.
