Date: Period: UNIT 2 Lesson 6: C 2,3,4. I- Aim By the end of the lesson, Sts will be able to talk about things in the classroom and the questions “ What’s this / that?” and the answers “ It’s a / an..” II- Language content + Grammar What’s this / that? It’s a/ an. + Vocabulary board, pen, basket, schoolbag, pencil, ruler, clock, window, eraser, waste basket. III- Techniques Rub out and Remember IV- Teaching aids Small board, real things V- Procedures Teacher ‘s and Sts’ activities Content Teacher asks Sts write some vocabulary by English. Teacher reads Vietnamese. Sts write English on the board. Teacher remarks and gives marks. Teacher introduces vocabulary using real things. Sts take note and write them into the note book. Teacher reads. Sts listen and repeat (choral, individual). Teacher uses technique “ Rub out and Remember” to check Sts. Get Sts copy the words into their books and then asks them to close books. Rub out the vocabulary one at time. Each time teacher rub out a word in English, point to the Vietnamese translation and ask “ What’s this in English?”. When all the Vietnamese list and get Sts to call out the English words. Teacher introduces model sentences Sts take note and write them into the note book. Teacher points real things around the class and asks Sts practice. Sts practice in pairs. Teacher asks Sts play a game. Sts do as request. Teacher asks Sts read vocabulary again. Sts read. Teacher asks Sts some things around the classroom. Sts answer. Teacher gives her requests. Sts write them into the note book.
