- Have Ss play game “ Chain game”

2. Pre – Reading: (12’)
- Show picture, ask them listen to the tape carefully.
- Introduce some new words:

- Ask Ss to practice the new words.

- Ask Ss to work in groups, answer the questions:

g) What does he do?
h) Where are they?
Ask Ss to work in pairs to answer questions:
1. How old is Mr. Kien? What does he do?
2. How old is Mrs. Oanh? What does he do?
3. How old is Lan? What does she do?
4. How old is Song? What does he do?
* Words cues:

- Call some students to read the answer.
- Correct.
4. Post – Reading: (10’)
- Ask Ss to write a short passage about Song’s family, using the reading as a model.

- Call some students to write on the board.
- Play the tape, have students play with words part 3/ p.39
5. Homework: (5’)
- Ask Ss to learn by heart vocabulary, to write another paragraph about their own families .
