OBJECTIVES: 
Teaching aim: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to identify possession, know ordinal numbers, describe school.
 PREPARATIONS: Book, cassette tape

1. Warm - Up: (5’)
- Ask students to play game “ Lucky numbers”

+ Lucky numbers: 2, 4, 6
+ 1: What’s your name ?
 3: Where is your school?
 5: Which class are you in?
 7: How many people are there in your family?
 8: How many students are there in your class?
 9: Where do you live?

2. Presentation: (10’)
- Ask Ss to look at the picture.
- Introduce vocabulary:
 + And : 
 + a floor (n) : 
 + Grade (n): 
 * Introduce ordinal numbers:
 + first (adj) – 1st
 + second (adj) – 2nd
 + third (adj) _ 3rd
 + fourth (adj) _ 4th
- Ask Ss to listen and repeat.
- Set the scene: Thu and Phong are asking about their school .
- Get Ss to guess about which grade / class they are in and where their classrooms are. 
3. Practice: (15’)
+ Activity 1:
- Ask Ss to listen to the dialogue between Thu and Phong and check their prediction.
- Let Ss listen to the tape twice.
 + Thu : + Grade: 7 Class: 7C.
 + Classroom’s floor: 2 nd.
 + Phong: + Grade: 6 Class: 6A
 + Classroom’s floor: 1 st.
- Ask Ss to practice the dialogue and complete the table

4. Production: (10’)
- Ask Ss to work in pairs to complete the dialogue between Thu and Phong (page 48)
- Call some pairs to correct.
5. Homework: (2’)
- Ask Ss to learn by heart vocabulary.
