I. OBJECTIVES: 
Teaching aim: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to further practice in simple present tense, telling the time, Adjective with “ Be”, Question words, school subjects, days of the week fluently

1. Warm - Up: (5’)
- Hold up the first picture and say the model sentences:
 +What time is it? 
 + It’s six o’clock. 
- Do the same for the seccond picture. 
2. Exercise: (37’)
a. Exercise 1: Simple present tense
- Have students read exercises 1, 7 on page 60, 61 and fill in the blanks with the correct form of the verbs
1/ 60:
a/ get up c/ go
b/ have d/ wash
7/ 61:
a/ gets up d/ has
b/ takes e/ goes
c/ brushes
- Call some students to correct.
b. Exercise 2: Time
- Ask students to look at 6 pictures on page 60
- Ask students to answer the question.

- Call some students to get feedback.
c. Exercise 3: Adjectives
- Run through the cues.
- Hold up the first cues and say the model sentences.
+ Is your { house } big ? 
+ Yes,it is / No, it isn’t.
- Do the same for the second cue.

 + family.
 + living room. 
- Correct their mistakes.
d. Exercise 4: Question words
- Show students the statements.
- Let students ask questions.
- Ask them to work in pairs.
