- Help sts further practice in body vocabulary to describe people.
- By the end of the lesson sts will be able to describe people well.

Aims and objectives - Provide sts some new words - Develop 4 skills : L , S , R & W. - Help sts further practice in body vocabulary to describe people. - By the end of the lesson sts will be able to describe people well. II . Preparation : 1.Teacher : Lesson plan, picture, CD, cassette player. Students: Books , workbooks , notebooks. III. stage of the lesson: 1.Organization: 1’- Good morning ! - Who’s absent today ? - How are you ? 2. Checking up : 4’ Teacher calls 2 sts go to the bb to write vocabulary and then ask and answer about color of things in class. + T. corrects and gives them marks. * The answer: Depend on sts’ answers 3. New lesson : Today I’ll help all of you to describe people well Teacher’s activities Time Students’ activities I. Pre reading : 1. Pre teach vocabulary + T. elicits. + T. models three times. + T. puts the words on the board. + T. checks meaning and pronunciation - round (adj) : trßn (mime) - oval (adj) : tr¸i xoan (translation) - full (adj) : ®Çy ®Æn (antonym) - long (adj) : dµi (antonym) *Revision : - thin, short , a face. 2. Checking vocabulary : Slap the board * Matching : B5 p.102 + T. reads : 1. He has an oval face and thin lips. 2. He has a round face. 3. She has a small face and long hair. 4. Her hair isn’t long and isn’t short. She has full lips. + T. asks sts to listen and write the number next to the correct picture. * Prediction : Gap – fill : + T. gives a poster : B4 p.101(picture only) : Miss Chi small / tall and thin . She has a round face , short/long black hair, brown eyes , a big/ small nose , full/thin lips and small white teeth. + T. asks sts to guess the words to fill in the gaps. II. While reading : + T. asks sts to read the text and check their predictions. * Key : a)1 b)3 c)2 d)4 * Comprehension questions : + T. explains “or” questions and the way to answer : a, It’s long b, It’s black c, They’re brown d, It’s small e, They’re full III. Post reading : * Write – it – up : + T. asks sts to write a text to describe your teacher or your friend. E.g.: My friend is Lan. She has a long black hair..... + T. calls some sts to read aloud. 4’ 6’ 18’ 9’ - Ss answer - Write vocabulary and then ask and answer. - Listen to the T. - Guess the meanings - Repeat in chorus, individual. - Sts play in 2 teams - Listen and write the number in individually. - Read the poster and give their guess. - Ss read the text individually and then check their predictions. - Answer the questions in pairs. - Do individually. 4. Consolidation : 2’ - Recall the main point of the lesson : identify and describe facial features . 5. Homework : 1’ - Learn by heart the new words. - Do exerice III page 51
