Warm – up.
- Have students play the game ‘jumble words”

- ask students to write the numbers in full:
 1st , 2nd , 3rd , 5th , 7th , 8th , 9th, 10th , 12th , 13th , 15th , 17th , 19th , 20th , 21st , 22nd , 23rd , 24th , 30th , 31st.
- Ask question 
What’s the date today?
Pre – listening. 
- Ask students to look at the picture/p.25
- Ask questions to introduce the lesson.
 1. Who are they?
 2. What’s Hoa doing?
 3. What’s Mr. Tan doing?
 4. Can you guess what questions Mr. Tan will ask Hoa?
While – listening.
- Play the tape for students twice to recognize what questions Mr. Tan is asking Hoa.
- Tell students to read the questions 
- - Play the tape for students again to write down the answers Hoa is responding to Mr. Tan.
- Call students to read the answers.
- Play the tape for students again.
- Elicit new vocabulary : 
date of birth, nervous, worried.
- Have students practice the dialogue 
- Have students notice the preposition “on + date” and future simple tense.
- Ask students to answer the questions in ‘Now answer’
- Call students to read the answers.
- Correct mistakes if necessary 
- Have students practice asking and answering the questions.
Post – listening. 
- Have students answer the questions in ‘About you”
- Ask students to talk about their partner.
- Ask students to read the dialogue again to complete the “Student Registration Form” that contains Hoa’s personal information.
- Check students’ answer.
- Ask students to make their own “Student Registration Form”
- Play the game in groups.
- Write the numbers in full.
- Answer the question.
