I. Objectives:
	A. Aims: By the end of the lesson Ss will be able to;
 	- how to use comparatives and superlatives to describe the apartments.
 	- read comprehension the dialogue and answer the questions
 	B. Knowledge 
- Vocabulary: - Short and long adjectives: empty, cheap, expensive, furnished, suitable, to find, good – better – the best, bad – worse – the worst. 
- Grammar: Comparatives and superlatives.
C. Skills: Listening, speaking, reading, writing.
II. Preparation:
A. Teacher: A casstte player and a dish, some objects to use comparatives and superlatives.
	B. Students: Some objects.
III. Procedures:
Warm up: Simon says

1. Revision
 asks Ss to make sentences with comparatives and superlatives.
2. Pre- teach vocab
- to find (v) tìm kiếm
- empty (adj) trống rổng
- good - better - the best: tốt - tốt hơn - tốt nhất
- bad - worse - worst: xấu - xấu hơn - xấu nhất
- expensive - more expensive - the most expensive (adj) : đắt - đắt hơn - đắt nhất
- cheap: rẻ
- suitable: thích hợp
- to be furnished: được trang bị
*T reads and asks Ss to repeat. And read individually.
*Check vocab: what and where
3. Presentation dialogue.
 T asks Ss to listen to the tape and repeat.
 T asks Ss to read in group then in pairs.
 4. Grammar
a. Do you live in a house or an apartment?
b. Which is more comfortable?
Ex: A house is more comfortable than an apartment
Structure :
 S1 + be + more + long adj + than+ S2
Long adj: modern, expensive, suitable, comfortable
Ex: This kitchen is the most modern.
Structure: S + be + the most + long adj
*T asks Ss to find some sentences in textbook.
-T corrects and write on the board.
-T asks Ss to read again and answer the questions.
a. Which is the cheapest apartment?
b. Which is the most expensive?
c. Which is the best apartment?
d. Which is the most suitable apartment for John and his family? Describe it?
5. Practice_T uses picture drill (5 page 39, 40)
Ex: A is a cheap toy and B is cheaper, but C is the cheapest
6. Further -practice: Replaced drill
T asks Ss to write sentence with the suppelatives
