Procedures: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Warm – up - Have students stick the flash cards of prepositions of position and pictures correctly: on the left/right (of), in the middle (of), in the corner (of), next to, in the center of - Ask students to read the prepositions. Pre-listening - Ask students to look at the picture on the page 47. - Ask question Where are the math books? They are on the shelves on the left. - Continue with the other kinds of books. - Use other structures to ask about the positions of the books. a. Where can I find the math books? b. Do you have the math books here? ð They are on the shelves on the left. - Elicit the structures. - Play the tape for students While-listening - Ask students to practice the dialogue in pairs. - Ask students practice asking and answering about the positions of other books on the shelves, using the structures above. - Call students to practice before the class. - Ask students to look at the model of the library in part 3 / p. 48. - Have students work in groups to guess the positions of the racks and shelves of books in the picture. - Call some students to give feedback - Explain the new word: study area. - Play the tape for students (3-4 times) - Call students to give feedback - Correct mistakes if necessary, and give the correct answers. 1.
