I.Knowledge:_By the end of the lesson: Ss will be able to:

 +Use the prepositions of position to describethe position of books in the

Library.

 + Practice the prepositions of position: In ,on,to the left,to the right.

 +Listen and label the shelves and racks.

II.Skills:Writing,speaking.reading,speaking.

III. Teaching aids:

_ Textbooks, notebooks, lesson plan,cassettes,tape,posters.

Library.
	+ Practice the prepositions of position: In ,on,to the left,to the right......
	+Listen and label the shelves and racks.
II.Skills:Writing,speaking.reading,speaking.
III. Teaching aids:
_	Textbooks, notebooks, lesson plan,cassettes,tape,posters.

I.Setlement:	-greetings.
	-class-oganization.
II:Checking:	-read the dialogue and answer the questions.
	-write new words on the board.
	III.New lesson:

1- Language-presentation:
*Pre-teach:
-in the middle(pre).åí giæîa.
-at the back (pre)åí phêa sau.
-on the left (pre) åí bãn traïi.
-on the right (pre) åí bãn phaíi
-at the front (pre)åí phêa træåïc.
-Ask Ss to read chorally and individually.
*-Check vocab: Slap the board
2-Presentation dialogue:
-Ask Ss to listen to the tape and repeat.
-let Ss read in pairs.
-correct Ss’pronunciation.
3-Grammar:
Model sentence:
Where can I find the Math books ,please ?
They are on the shelves on the left.
Form: Where can I find + name of books ?
 S + tobe(are/is) +prepositions of position.
= Where is/are +name of books?
Example: Where are the English books?
 They are on the rack on the right.
4-Practice:
-Ask Ss to ask and answer in pairs.
a- Where are the science books ?
b-Where are the reference books ?
c-Where are the newspaper ?
d-Where are the dictionaries?
*correct Ss’answers.
5-Pre-listening:Open-prediction
-Ask Ss to predict which books are on the racks.
-write on the board.
6-While-listening:
-Let Ss listen to the tape 3 times and check theirs predictions.
Answer key:
1-Study area.
2-Science and math.
3-Geography,history.
4+5: Newspapers and magazines.
6+7: English.
8-Librarian ‘s desk/table.
6-Post-listening: write-it-up:
-Ask ss to listen the tape again and write about the position of books in the library.
Example: 
This is my school library.There are many books in the library...........................
-copy down.
-listen and read chorally 
-read individually.
-
-listen and repeat.
-read in pairs.
-repeat.
-copy down.
-give example:
-work in pairs.
a-They are on the racks on the right,
b-They are on the racks in the middle.
c-they are on the shelves at the back.
d-they are on the racks at the front.
-look at the map and predict
-listen to the tape.
-answer.
-copy down.
-write in the notebook.
The read loudly.
	IV: Consolidation:
	-Let Ss read the dialogue again
	-read the passage loudly.
	V.Homework:
	At home :	+Learn new words by heart.
	+read the dialogue then answer the questions.
	+write about the position of books in your school library.
	+Do exercises B3,4 in work book.
