Ask Ss to look at the pictures and give the name of the acitivities
(read book, swim, play video game, go to the cinema, play soccer, watch TV)

PRESENTATION (12’)
- Ask Ss to give some of the adverbs of frequency
- T: introduces the way to put question with“How often”
-T : elicits the meaning
- Get some more examples 
- let Ss read the model sentence
 II- PRACTICE (16’)
- Have Ss work in pair ask & answer use the word cues
- Do model first then let Ss to practice in pair
- Call Ss to present in class
- Listen & give feedback
- Ask Ss to write on their notebook 
III- PRODUCTION (9’)
T: asks Ss to write three full sentences they often do after school on the board and check their sentences with the whole class.
Ss: go to the board and write their sentences, basing on the card
T: asks Ss to give five activities they often do and the asks them to give four adverbs of frequency.
T: gives the model and asks them to choose one activity and on adverb to complete their sentence .
T: invites Y/N questions to guess T/s sentence, then their friends/
- Always: luôn luôn
- Sometimes: thỉnh thoảng
- Never: không bao giờ
- Often: thường xuyên
- Usually: thường thường
* A: How often do you go to school?
 B: I often go to school
+Meaning: .....có thường xuyên.....?
+Usage: used to ask the frequency
- Ex: How often does she go shopping?
 She never goes shopping
*Word cue with how often....?
a. You/ play soccer/ often
b. They/ go swimming/ never
c. Your mother/ watch TV/ always
d. Lan/ go to the movies/ sometimes
e. You/study in the library/ usually

- Ss write on their book
Write-it-up
Write activities you often do after school:
Ex: On Monday,I always do my homework.
Guessing game
Model: I  ... ...
Ex: I often play soccer.
Example:
? Do you often play soccer
- Yes, I do or No, I don/t
(The one who guess the sentence correctly will change the position and the game goes on)
Ss: speak them out.
Ss: choose on activity and one adverb in secret and complete their sentences
Ss: play the game.
Consolidation: (2’)- Review the way to use the adverd of frequency
Homework: (1’)
- Asks Ss to do exercise A2- P.33 (Workbook).
- Asks Ss to prepare: : A3,4-P.62,63
