How can you asks them for the way to the post office? - introduces the new lesson. I- PRESENTATION (12’) - Introduces the words by explaining the meaning, using the situation. - Reads the words for the modal (3times). Then helps SS to repeat ( 2 times ). - Checks S’s reading in individual & corrects the mistakes. - Writes the words on the Bb & checks the meaning & the pronunciation. - Corrects & asks Ss to copy the words. - Use slap the board to check vocabulary - Introduces & Asks Ss to listen to the dialogue . - Helps Ss to practice the dialogue in groups & in pairs. - Checks S’s practicing in groups & in pairs. - Corrects S’s pronunciation & comments - Sets the scene - Asks: Which question does the tourist ask Nga? - writes the model and runs it through. - Does concept check. - Asks Ss to ask and answer the model again. II- PRACTICE (15’) - Shows and runs through the cards. - Makes the model with the first two cards . - Instructs Ss to practise. - Invites Ss to asks and answer III- PRODUCTION (7’) - Instructs Ss to do exercise 1 (a,b,c,d,) at P.47 (Workbook) - Invites the answers and asks the whole to correct. 1.Vocabulary: - souvenir shop (n): cửa hàng đồ lưu niệm - shoe store (n): cửa hàng giày - museum (n): viện bảo tàng - Listen to the words. - Repeat the words in chorus & in individual. - Correct the mistakes. - Give the meaning & the pronunciation. - Copy the words. 2. Presentation dialogue. Could you show me the way to ..........? - Go straght ahead Take the first street on the left second right - Read it chorally. - Give their ideas about the meaning, use, form and pronunciation, focus on “ The” before nouns. 3. Word-cue Drill - Read through the cards . - Follow teacher/s model. - Practise speaking through the cards.
