Teacher’s activities Ss’ activities. *Warm up: Networks. -Ask the class to divide into 2 teams and go to the board, write names of food and fruit on the board. *Answer key: Banana,grape,orange, apple,............. 1- Language-Presentation: a) Pre-teach: - a pineapple: quả dứa (thơm) - a papaya: quả đu đủ. - durian: quả sầu riêng. - spinach (n) rau mâm xôi - ripe /raip/ (a) chín - cucumber: dưa chuột - pork: thịt lợn *Check vocab: Matching. b) Presentation dialogue 1 T plays the tape then asks Ss to practice the dialouge T asks questions: a. So can her sister/Her sister can,too. 2-Practice: Word cue drill/ picture drill. -Ask Ss to work in pairs and practice the structure. Example exchange: S1: I like spinach. S2: Tom likes sninach,too./ So doesTom. 3- Production: -Ask Ss to make sentences using above form. *I/eat/meat.(Mary) *She/like/ banana.(we). *Mai/ is/ beautiful (Hoa) *We/read/a book. (Ba) Example: I eat meat. She likes banana. -correct. -divide into 2 teams. -go to the board and write names of food and fruit. -copy down. -read chorally and individually. -carry out. -listen to the tape and repeat. -read in pairs.
