Procedures: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Warm – up. - Have students write the words relating to Cooking. cook, heat, boil, fry, grill, roast, steam, Pre – reading. - Have students look at the picture - Ask pre-reading questions a. What are Hoa and her aunt doing? b. What food do they prepare for dinner? - Elicit some vocabulary 1. slice (v) 2. stir-fry (v) 3. add (v) 4. set the table (v) - Check vocabulary :Rub Out and Remember While – reading. - Ask students to read the text silently - Call on some students to read the text aloud. - Ask students to answer the question to write the menu.
