*Warm up: Network.
-Ask Ss to retell name of the sports they’ve learnt.
-write on the board.
* Possible answer:
Soccer, volleyball, baseball, football, basketball, table tennis, badminton, swimming.
1- Pre-reading:
a- What are your favorite sports ?
b- When do you always play these sports ?
*Pre-teach vocab:
-surprising (adj): ngạc nhiên
-skateboarding(n) môn trượt ván.
-roller-skating (n) trượt pa tanh 2 bánh
-roller-blading (n): trượt pa tanh 4 bánh
-choice (n) sự lựa chọn.
-athletic (n) môn điền kinh.
*Check vocab: Matching.
*Open -prediction:
-Ask Ss to predict what sports is the first choice and what sport is the tenth choice of teenagers in the USA.
-write on the board.
2- While-reading:
a-Ask Ss to read the text and check their prediction.
*Answer key: Baseball : first
 Swimming: tenth.
b-Questions:
-Ask Ss to answer the questions:
1-Is baseball your favorite sport ? If not,what is your first choice?
2- Do you like table tennis?

-Ask Ss to work in pairs and ask the position of sports in the table.
