 + read the text for details and answer the questions.

 II.Skills: Reading ,writing,speaking,listening.

 III.Teaching aids: notebooks, workbooks, poster, cassettes, tape.

B.Procedures:

 I.Settlement.

 +Greeting, class-organization.

 II.Checking(7ms)

 +read the dialogue by heart then answer the questions.

 +write form of modal verbs and give some examples

a) Pre-teach vocab:
- surface (n) bề mặt world’s surface: bề mặt trái đất
- land: (n) đất liền.
- ocean: đại dương (n).
- stay underwater (v) ở dưới nước.
- pearl diver (n) thợ lặn ngọc trai.
- breathing equipment (n) dụng cụ thowr.
- scuba-diving (n) lặn có bình khí.
- to explore (v) thám hiểm - explorer (n) nhà thám hiểm
-underlife (n) cuộc sông dươi nước.
*Check vocab: Matching.
b) T/F statements prediction:
-Ask Ss to close their books and predict .
-write on the board.

a) read the text and check the prediction.
*Answer key:

-Ask Ss to read the text again and answer the questions.
3- Post-reading:
-Ask Ss to read the text then complete the passage with the modal verbs in the box.
