• Vocabulary: a bathroom, a kitchen, a sink, a washing machine.

• Grammar: There’s / There are

C. Techniques :

 Brainstorm, true or false , chain game, filling, pair work , group works.

D. Teaching aids :

 Textbook, lesson plan, posters, pictures .

 Hangman
T: give some dashes and ask ss to find down the word which has letters as dashes.
Ss: try to find.
+ Suggested words.
 Television, chair, picture, stove, table.
 *Presentation:
- Show some pictures to introduce the new lesson and new words.
T: elicit new words.
 Model them.
Ss: listen and repeat in chorus and in groups.
T: write them on the BB.
 Ss: Give meaning.
 Copy down.
Ss: Write as many words about the kitchen vocabulary as possible.
 * Practice:
T: let ss listen the statements. 
Then they repeat or not.
Ss: listen carefully.
T: read the text.
Ss: listen carefully and find out the mistakes, then correct.

Ss: play “chain game”
T: ask ss to give a note about “ There +be”

This is the picture of the kitchen. The television is next to the refregerator. There’s a washing machine between the dishwasher and the electric stove. There’s a dinning table with five chairs. Beside the washing machine is the tub.

 - Do exercises 2 on page 14 on the workbook & do exercise A 2b.
 - For the good students, write 5 sentences about compliments.
