Biết cách hỏi và trả lời về một kì nghỉ/ một chuyến đi dã ngoại.

1. Listen. Then practice with a partner:
a. Set the scene: “ We are going to listen a conversation between Ba & Liz. They are talking about Liz’s vacation in Nha Trang”.
* Pre- teach vocab:
- delicious (a): ngon
- aquarium (n): bễ bơi
- souvenir(n): vật kỉ niệm
- return(v): trở lại
- Wonderful (a): tuyệt vời
- holiday(n) (BE)= vacation (AE): kì nghỉ
* Checking vocab: “Matching”

* Grammar:
 The past simple tense.
+ Form: 
a. Thì quá khứ đơn của động từ “ Tobe”
+ I/ she/ he/ it + was + O
 We/ they/ you + Were + O.
- I/she /he/ it + was not ( wasn’t) + O
- They /we/ you + were not (weren’t) + O.
? Was + I /she/ he /it + O?
 Were + they/ we/ you + O
 Yes, S + was/ were.
 No, S + wasn’t/ weren’t.
b. Thì quá khứ đơn của động từ thường.
Form: S + V ( past) + O.
- Present how to form verbs in past.
 V + ed + V(ed).
- Present some verbs in present. Then, expesses them in past.
 - take à took.
 - buy à bought.
 - have à had.
 - play à played.
 - visit à visited.
 - talk à talked.
+ Use: The past simple tense expresses an action that completely finished in the past. This tense always go with: yesterday, ago, last night, week, month 
Notes:
- You must learn by heart irregular verbs.

- Play the tape once time.
- Ask 2 sts to roleplay “ Ba & Liz” to read the dialogue .
- Let sts to read the dialogue silently.
- Ask sts to do part: “ Now answer. Number the sentences”.
- Explains how to do it.
- Ask sts compare with a partner.

1. Present simple tense:

Form: S + V (s,es)
Use: Dùng để diễn tả hành động, sự việc xảy ra hàng ngày theo thói quen
Ex: - I go to school at 6 o’clock
 - I get up at 5 o’clock.
2. Present progressive tense:
-Ask sts to repeat the form and how to use of present progressive tense.
- Repeat:
Form: + S + tobe + V-ing.
 - S + tobe + not + V-ing.
 ? Tobe + S + V-ing?
Use: Dùng để diễn tả hành động, sự việc đang xảy ra tại thời điểm nói.
3. Exclamatory sentences.
- Ask sts repeat form of exclamatory sentence.

Form: What + a/ an + adj + noun!
- Give examples:

- Provides some structures,

+ more .. than: nhiều hơn (DTĐĐ, DTKĐĐ)

+ less  than: ít hơn (DTKĐĐ)
2. Adverbs of frequency:
- Ask sts repeat adverbs of frequency.
- Repeat: always, often, usually, sometime, never.
Notes: Trạng từ chỉ tần suất thường đứng trước Dt thường và đứng sau đt Tobe.
- Trong câu phủ định và câu nghi vấnTTCTS thường đứng giữa đt thường và trợ đt.

A. Grammar:
1. Hỏi- đáp về khoảng cách giữa 2 địa điểm.
- Ask sts to repeat how to ask and answer about distances between 2 places.
- Repeat:
 How far is it from + (name of place 1) + to + (name of place 2)?
 It is + distance + m/ km.
Ex: How far is it from your house to school?
 It is about 2 km.
2. Ask and answer about time.
Form:
Ask: What time is it ?
Answer: giờ chẳn 
 Giờ lẽ - giờ hơn
 - giờ kém.
+ Giờ chẵn: It is + số giờ + o’clock.
+ giờ lẽ:
 - giờ hơn: It is + số giờ + số phút.
 It is + số phút + past + số giờ
 - giờ kém: It is + số phút +to + số giờ.
3. So sánh hơn và hơn nhất của tính từ ngắn , tính từ dài:
a. TT ngắn:
- So sánh hơn:
 S1 + be + short adj + er + than + S2.
Ex: My house is smaller than Lan’s house.
-So sánh hơn nhất:
 S + be + the short adj + est.
Ex: HCM City is the biggest Hanoi .. 
b. TT dài:
- So sánh hơn:
 S1 + be + more + long adj + than + S2.
Ex: Nga’s house is more expensive than Ha’s house.
- So sánh hơn nhất:
 S + be + the most + long adj.
Ex: Nga’s house is the most expensive.
