 - Known to greet everybody and answer the questions.

 2. Teaching aim:

 - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

 + Give different greetings to people of different age.

 + Develop their listening skill.

II/ Preparation:

 - Pictures for present, cassette, tape, chalk

I/ Objectives:
 1. Education aim:
 - Known to greet everybody and answer the questions.

 - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

	 + Develop their listening skill.

 - Pictures for present, cassette, tape, chalk

1/ WARM – UP. (5’)
- Ask sts to read the text about Hoa.
- Ask questions. 
2/ PRE - LISTENING. (10’)
- Present vocabulary:
 + So am I: Toâi cuõng vaäy.
 + Just fine: Raát khoeû, bình thöôøng.
 + Pretty good (a): Khaù toát, töông ñoái toát.
 + Me, too: Toâi cuõng vaäy.
 + How is everything? : moïi vieäc nhö theá naøo?
 + Will begin: Seû baét ñaàu.
 + Hurry (n): Söï voäi vaøng, nhanh leân.
 + Nice to meet you: Raát vui khi gaëp baïn.
- Have sts to read in chorus.
- Ask sts to look at the picture. 
- Ask questions. 
 1. Who are they?
 2. What are they doing?
 3. What does Mr.Tan do?
 4. What does Nga do?
 5. How does Mr. Tan greet Nga and vice versa?
- Introduce the lesson.
- Have sts listen to the tape. 
- Notice the difference in greeting between ages.
- Have sts practice the dialogue.
3/ WHILE – LISTENING. (15’)
a) Activity 1:
- Ask sts to look at the words in the box.
- Explain the words in the box.
- Ask sts to look at the open-dialogues (4a,b). 
- Have Sts listen and fill in the gaps.
- Call Sts to read the answers.
- Supply the correct answers.
 a) How are you? – Pretty good – How about you? – Not bad – Me, too.
 b) How is everything? – OK – How are you today? – Just fine – So am I 
- Call some pairs to practice the dialogues. 
b) Activity 2:
- Ask sts to look at the pictures.
- Ask questions.
 a. Who are they in the pictures?
 b. Where are they?
 c. What are they doing?
- Supply some words and phrases in the listening exercises : 
 Ready ª be ready
 Hurry ª you must hurry
 Do you have the time? = what’s the time?
- Play the tape for sts ( twice or three times)
- Ask sts to give the answers.
- Supply the correct answers: c – b – d – a.
 4/ POST – LISTENING. (7’) 
- Ask sts to choose one of the four pictures to role play.
- Have sts write the typescript.
5/ PRODUCTION.(7’)
- Remind sts of the “Wh- questions”. 
- Ask sts to practice asking for and giving their personal information.
- Ask sts’s full names.
 a. What’s your family name?
 b. What’s your middle name?
 c. What’s your first name? 
6/ HOMEWORK. (1’)
- Write the questions and answers in the exercise note books. 
- Write the complete dialogue. 	
- Prepare B 4, 5
- Read the text.
- Answer the questions. 
- Listen to T and take notes.
- Whole class.
- Look at the pictures and answer the questions.
