Listen and repeat: - Teacher plays the tape (B1- P.24) - Teacher explains: “Ordinal number is used to indicate the days in a month, and orders of things.” Ex: Our class is on the second floor. 2. Ordinal numbers: Ex: six -> sixth seven -> seventh Ten -> tenth eight -> eighth III- PRACTICE 1. Activity 1: (B3- P.24) - Teacher asks: How many months are there in a year? - Teacher: Look at part B. Here are the names of the twelve months, but they are not in order. Now write them in good order from the first to the twelfth. - Teacher read the months twice and ask Ss to repeat. 2. Activity 2: (B2- P.24) - Teacher: + What is this? (Calendar) + What month is it? (July) - Teacher: Now listen to the tape and write down the dates of July. - Teacher plays the tape. IV- FURTHER PRACTICE - Teacher asks Ss to practice sayingsome holidays in Vietnam and in the world.
