Procedure
Warm up 	 	Time: (3')	chatting: talking about Hoa.
- What does Hoa do ?
- How old is she ?
- Where does she live now ?
- Who does she live with ?
- Where do her parents live ?
Pre - reading	Time: (12')
Pre - teach vocab.

Checking vocab. Slap the board

- Sts talk about Hoa's mom letter, using the answer given a ® e on P.100 (in pair / open pair ® closed pair).

- Read + translate Hoa's mom letter.
- Write the answer for comp. qs on P99, a ® e.

Ask Ss to look at Nam’s diary and tell about Nam’s daily routines .

Have Ss work in pairs asking answering about Nam’s daily routines .
Call on some pairs to ask and answer in front of the class .
Ask them to write a diary about themselves based on Nam’s diary .
Ask them to exchange their writing with the partner .
Have Ss work in pairs asking and answering about themselves .
