Pre- listening - T models and asks students to use the information in the box to make a survey. - Ss work in groups to take a survey. - T checks their survey and asks students to answer the questions. - Ss answer the questions - T checks the answer. Then leads in the lesson. - Ss listen to the situation. - T asks students to predict the days lost through sickness in class 7A. - Ss predict the information. Then say their predictions. - T writes their predictions on the board. While-listening - T turns on the cassette twice. - Ss listen and check their predictions, compare. Then give the answers. - T gives feedback from the tape.
