1. Warm up:
a) Check the old lesson.
- Get one pupil to read and translate part B3 - Unit 13.
b) Warmer.
- Guide pupils to play a game named: "Find someone who"
- After finishing the game teacher asks pupils some questions:
+ How many people watch TV in their free time?
+ What time do you watch always TV?
+ What is your favorite program?
2. Presentation:
- Hang picture of part A1 on the board and says: this is the picture of Hoa's family. Look at it and guess what they do in their free time? Do they watch TV?
- Get pupils to answer the above question.
- Then teacher introduces new lesson: Watching TV is one of the most popular activities in free time. You are going to listen to a conversation between Lan and Hoa to find out what Hoa's and Lan's family do in their free time?
- Teacher reads the dialogue once first.
- Teacher introduces some new words.
- Guides pupils to get the use and meaning of them.
- Teacher reads new words once first. 
- Guide pupils to read new words twice or more.
- Get pupils to read new words in silence.
- Gets one by one to read new words loudly.

Most teenagers around the world watch TV. Many listen to the radio. In a lot of countries, the most popular shows on TV are series. They show ordinary characters and how they live. Many teenagers like pop music. There are lots of music programs on TV and one satellite TV station only shows pop videos.
In many countries, people can receive satellite TV. Often in large cities, cable TV is available. With satellite and cable TV, it's possible to choose from a wide variety of programs.
