I- PRESENTATION (13’) - asks Ss to read the dialogue and asks the question:What does Hoa/s aunt say? - writes the model and runs it through. - does concept check. - gives examples of another ways : She is not cold- I am not, either/Neither am II- PRACTICE (12’) oranges/Tom fish/she Pineapple/They Durian/He Chicken/Mary - shows the cards and runs through the words. - makes the model with the first card. - instructs Ss to practice by the cards. III- PRODUCTION (8’) (Rewrite the following sentences, using either/neither ) 1.I don/t eat a lot of food. (Mary) 2. They did not need some spinach. (I) 3. She was not thirsty yesterday. (Nga) 4. They are not playing tennis now. (We) - hangs on the exer. asks Ss to work in groups, rewrite the sentences - invites the answers. - asks the whole to check the answers. 1. Presentation Dialogue. Aunt: Neither do I. *)Form: When we talk about references with the negative ideas, we use: - S + do/does not + V + Obj. did not be not à S* + do/does not. + (V) , either. did not be not or NEITHER + do/does not + S*. did not be not - read them in pairs and pick out the sentences. - read out the model with T. - pick out the meaning, form and use. - work with teacher to get it. - run through the model again. 2. Word-cue drill. Example exchange: S1: I don/t like oranges. S2: Tom doesn/t like, either Neither does Tom. - read out the words. - follow teacher/s. - asks and answer the question.
