 I- PRE-READING (15’)
- elicits the words first and says out the words.

- uses What and Where to check Vocab.
- asks the whole to check.
- writes down the tasks and sets the scene.
- asks Ss to predict it in groups.
- elicits and then write the Ss/ predictions
 II- WHILE-READING (15’)
- asks Ss to read the dialogue to check their predictions. 
- goes round to help Ss.

- asks the whole to check and explain more if necessary.

Did his Mom eat spinach?

-asks Ss to work in groups, read the dialogue and complete the story.

1. Vocabulary
- dirt (N) (realia): vết bẩn
 {dirty (Adj.)
- medicine (N) (Realia): thuốc
Ex: She should take some medicines
- soup (N) (Trans): canh
- try to give them out and repeat chorally- individually.
- copy down & give the meaning, stress.
- read and then rewrite the rubbed-out words.
- check the words again.
2. Open predictions.(With key)
- share their ideas in groups and write their predictions on the worksheets.
- sticks their predictions on the board.
What did Ba ate yesterday?
3. Read and check predictions.
- read it individually and then share their ideas in groups.
- speak out their answers.

4. Comprehension questions.
*) Answer:
- Ba has an awful stomachache
