II. Reading
a. Ordering
 Set the scence.(Use the pictures in the text book)

? What are they doing now? - Preparing for dinner.
- Hang a poster with 8 statements on the board.
 a. She cooked some rice and boiled spinach.
 b. She sliced some green pepers and onions.
 c. She sliced some beef.
 d. She sliced some cucumbers.
 e. She stir-fried the beef with vegetables.
 f. Hoa set the table for dinner.
 g. She made cucumber salad with onions.
 h. She added a little salt to the spinach.
- Limit time => Feed back
* Read and check the prediction.
- Have Ss read the text silently to correct their orders.
- Feed back Ss' answers.
 Key : c -> d -> a -> h -> e -> b -> g -> f 
- Let Ss read the statements in correct orders again.
* Matching
- Hang a poster with the following words and ask ss to match
 1. a plate a. cái thìa, cái muỗng
 2. a pan b. cái bát, cái tô
 3. a spoon c. đôi đũa
 4. a bowl d.cái đĩa đựng thức ăn
 5. chopsticks e. cái chảo
- Have Ss go to the board and match the things to the English words.
b) Write the menu.
- Have Ss read the text again to find down the answers for the question: "What did they eat for dinner?"
- Get Ss in two groups to go to the board and write the menu ( the things they ate for dinner)
- Give feedback.
 + Cucumber salad with onions.
 + Boiled spinach.
 + Rice
 + Sti-fry beef with green pepers and onions.
c) Add the missing words.
- Get Ss to work in pairs. In pairs, they discuss and complete the instructions by adding missing words.
- Feed back Ss' answers. ( one by one go to the board and write the missing words.)

d) Match the instructions to the pictures.
- Show 7 pictures (page 117).
- Have Ss match the instructions to the pictures.
- Feed back Ss' answers.

* Chain game.
- Get Ss to use the kinds of food 
- Have Ss work in groups of four.
