I. Aim: To help ss to talk about the months of the year.
II. Objective: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to talk about dates and months of the year and the pronunciation.
III. Language : 
 Vocab : ordinal number , dates and months
 Structure : Ordinal number = Cardinal number + th
IV. Materials: Textbook, picture, poster.

T prepares ten cards with numbers on one side and the cardinal numbers.
Make sure the numbers and the cardinals are mixed up. Stick cards on the board so ss can only see the numbers.
Divide the class into two teams and ask ss to choose two numbers.
Turn over the cards and see if they match, e.g 1st - first. If not, turn the cards face down again and ask the other team to choose.
