Where do you live? How far is it from your house to school? How do you go to school? T asks some questions: Does your family have a telephone? _ What’s your phone number? 3. New lesson: MOTHOD CONTENT T. Introduces how to read the telephone numbers. Asking students to look at the page and guess what it comes from and introducing the vocabulary. Eliciting how to read telephone number. Explaining how to read the numbers with a focus on combinations. T. Lets students read aloud the numbers. Having them practice in pairs. T. Calls some Ss to practice before the class. T. Remarks and corrects the mistakes if neccesary. T. Plays the cassette and lets students write down the numbers. Asking Ss to compare the result with a partner Letting them to listen again. Having students cross-check the answers. Checking students’ answers. Having students write in the notebooks. * Pre-listening: T. Asks some questions: Do you often talk with someone on the phone? Do you know the question asking for telephone numbers? Do you know how to give your telephone number to others? * While-listening: T. Has students close their book and listen to the recording. Letting them retell Hoa’s number and questions in the conversation. Letting them listen to the questions again while reading the conversation. Having them practice in pairs. * Post-listening: T. Gets some pairs to role play the conversation. Remarking and correcting the mistakes if neccesary. Introducing the Simple future and letting them copy the form to their notebooks.
