II- PRESENTATION 1. Pre- teach: - Teacher uses the picture A3- P.31 and asks Ss to tick on the words that have in the picture. - Teacher asks Ss to look at the picture and asks: a. What is there/ are there in the picture? b. Is there a ..... in the picture? c. Are there any ..... in the picture? III- PRACTICE 1. Exercise 1: - Teacher asks Ss to work in pairs, ask and answer about things in the picture. 2. Exercise 2: - Teacher asks Ss to work in pairs, ask and answer about the positions of the things in the picture. IV- PRODUCTION - Teacher asks Ss to work in pairs, build a short dialogue, using the language in A1, A2 and A3. Example exchange: S1: This is my house. S2: What a beautiful house! S1: And this is my bedroom. S2: It’s nice. I like its color. Where is the kitchen? S1: It’s here. - Teacher goes around and helps Ss. - Teacher calls some pairs to present their dialogue and correct their mistakes Ss: play the game in groups to find out the words. * Things: bookshelf, kitchen, chair, sink, couch, desk, stove, dryer. * Prepositions: in front of, under, near, in, on, behind, next to. - Ss look at the picture and tick on the words. - Ss answer the questions to revise the questions: Is there ..../ Are there ....? a. There is ..../ There are ..... b. Yes, there is/ No, there isn’t c. Yes, there are/ No, there aren’t. - Ss practice in pairs: S1: What is there/ are there in the picture? S2: There is a table/ There are some chairs ... etc. - Ss work in pairs: S1: Is there a television in the room? S2: Yes, there is. S1: Where is it? S2: It is near the window. ... etc. - Ss work in pairs, ask and answer to build a short dialogue. - Ss corrects their dialogue.
