A. Aims and requests:
I. Aims: Giving complements and making complaints with “What a/ an + adj + noun!” to talk about the house.
II. Requests: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to develop their speaking skill by Giving complements and making complaints with “What a/ an + adj + noun!” to talk about the house.

II. Checking up previous lesson.
1. – Write the new words.
 - Describe your kitchen.
2. Call 3 Ss to do on the board.
3. Remark, correct and give marks.
III. New lesson.
1. Introduction: Today, you’ll learn the way to give complements and make complaints
2. Presentation
a. Vocabulary:
- T elicits the new words.
- Modal- have Ss repeat chorally and read individually.
+ amazing (a): ®¸ng ng¹c nhiªn (translation)
+ delicious (a): ngon (situation)
+ comfortable (a): tho¶i m¸i, dÔ chÞu
+ expensive (a): ®¾t (antonym)
+ awful (a): kinh khñng, tåi tÖ	(situation)
+ boring (a): buån tÎ, tÎ nh¹t	(translation)
+ wed (a): Èm ­ít	(antonym)
+ bright (a): s¸ng sña	(antonym)
* Check vocab: Rub out and remember.
b. Presentstion dialogue (A1, 2- p.29, 30)
- Have Ss read the dialogue then elicit the exclamations.
- Have Ss repeat chorally and individually.
 - What a beautiful bathroom!
 - What an expensive dress!
- Check form from Ss.
* Form:
 What a/ an + adj + noun!
* Uses: It’s used to give compliments and make complaints.
3. Practice: Word cue Drill (A2- P. 30, 31) 
- Show the cues.
- Modal the sentences.
- Have Ss repeat chorally then read individually
- Have Ss work individually to practise the cues.
- Call some Ss to practise
- Correct Ss’ mistakes.
Ex: a. S1: The restaurant is awful.
 S2: Yes. What an awful restaurant!
 b. room/ bright c. party/ boring
c. kitchen/ amazing d. movie/ bad 
 4. Further Practice: Noughts and Crosses.
- Have Ss work in team to make exclamations.
- Get feedback and correct.

IV. Consolidation.
* Write exclamations for the word cues.
