Time: 45’ Procedures: TEACHER’S AND STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES CONTENT Warm up T corrects the exercises B1 in workbook page 15. T guides sts to play “ What’s his job?” by giving cues or guestures B5. Listen and read Pre- Set the situation by showing a picture of two people, then have them point out the furniture in the room. While- Have them listen the tape twice. Ask students to repeat the dialogue. Post- Have students practice the dialogue in pairs, change the roles. Remind students the use of comparatives and superlatives. Mention the notes of: apartment (AE) = flat (BE) apartment house – a block of flats Practice Let them read the dialogue silently. Have them answer the questions. Let them check their answers in pairs. Provide the correct answers. Ask them to rewrite their answers in the exercise books as homework. B6.Write.Below is John’s letter to his wife and daughter in the USA. Complete the letter by using these words Pre- Explain the requiry While- Let students read the letter and provide them further practice on “adjectives” Have them reread the letter and fill in the blanks with given adjectives. Post- Let them check the answer. Provide the key Let the students copy the leter in their exercise books as homework. Have them copy the note in “REMEMBER” UNIT 3: AT HOME A: What a lovely home!
