What things are there in Hoa’s room? ... a/ Pre- writing : (10’) T : Ask : What does Lan say when she comes to Hoa’s house ? + Answer - Write & explain the structure. Say how to use complaints or compliments. b/While - writing : (10’) - Give cues, give new words + Practice speaking individually before the class. - Correct the intonation + Read all the sentences in chorus. + Write them down. c/Post - writing : (10’) + Make exclamations about things around the class ( pen, classroom, book..) * Practice speaking : 2/Presentation : - Use a picture of a house with many things (armchairs, tables, chairs, lamps...) and ask : “What is there in this picture ?” ( point at a table) + There is a table . - What is there in the picture ? (point at the chairs) + There are some chairs. - Write all the answers and explain the structure. + Go on with the others in the picture. - Tell me where the table is. + It’s next to the chairs. - Explain the prepositions. 3/Practice : (5’) + Work in pairs ( use picture) - Have some pairs present before the class. 4/Consolidation : (4’) Play the game “ Noughts & Crosses”, using the words in the box ( textbook) Group A : There is a telephone on the table.
