I- PRESENTATION: (12’)
* Revision:
- Teacher asks some questions for Ss to revise:
+ What time is it now?
+ What time do you usually go to school?
- Teacher helps Ss to revise the way to ask and answer about the time.
- T revises the way to talk about time
II- PRACTICE: (18’)
- Teacher asks Ss to look at the picture and practice.
- Teacher plays the tape and requests:
* Notes:
9.40: + It’s nine forty
+ It’s twenty to ten
8.30: + It’s eght thirty
+ It’s half past eight
- Teacher instructs and asks Ss to practice in pairs. 
- Give Ss the time and Ss can base on the time and practice
- Call Ss to present in class
- Give feedback
III – PRODUCTION (8’)
a. Pre- listening:
- Teacher introduces some words about the subjects:
Schedule (n); math; English; music; history; physics; geography; physical education.
- Teacher teaches pronunciation.
b. While- listening:
- Teacher introduces: This schedule lacks of some information. They are either names of subjects or time of the lessons.
- Teacher corrects Ss’ answers.
+ What time is it?
+ It is one o’clock.
+ I usually go to school at half past twelve
- Ss revise:
- Ss listen to the teacher and answer the questions:
It is one o’clock: giờ chẳn
It is one to ten: giờ kém
It is one past ten: giờ hơn
It is half past one: giờ rưởi
1. Listen and repeat: (A1- P.42)
- Ss look at the picture and read.
- Ss look at the picture and listen to the tape.
- Ss listen to the tape and repeat.
- Ss read aloud the time in the textbook.
- Ss take notes.
- Ss look at the picture and practice in pairs:
Ex: S1: What’s the time?
S2: It is ....................
2. Answer about you: (A2- P.42)
- Ss work in pairs:
S1: What time do you get up?
S2: I usually get up at 5.30
S1: What time do classes start?
S2: Our classes start at 7.00
S1: What time do they finish?
S2: They finish at 11.15.
S1: What time do you have lunch?
S2: I have lunch at 11.45.
S1: What time do you go to bed?
S2: I always go to bed at 9.40.
Listening: (A3- P.43)
- Ss listen and repeat chorally.
- Ss listen and do practice
IV. Consolidation: (5’)
- Teacher: Now write your schedule on Monday
- Teacher provides some other subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Vietnamese language and literature, Civic Education ( GDCD), Fine arts, Technology, School Assemble 
V. Homework: (1’)
 - Learn by heart the names of the subjects
 - Do exercise 1
