I. Objectives:

- Students can ask and answer about the time, talk about their schedule.

 - Training four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

II. Language contents:

1. Grammar

 Just review some structures: What time is it? = What’s the time?

 What time do / does + S + bare_inf.?

2. Vocabulary: (n): schedule, physical education.

III. Techniques: Picture cues, pair work, role plays, extra exercise.

IV. Teaching aids: a cassette, pictures, sub-board.

V. Procedures:

Objectives:
- Students can ask and answer about the time, talk about their schedule.
 - Training four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

 3. New lesson:
METHOD
CONTENT
T: introduces A1 by reminding how to ask and answer about the time which they have already learnt in the sixth grade.
T: turns on the cassette recorder the first time and the whole class listen (books closed)
T: turns on a cassette again and the whole class repeat each sentence. (T can ask some students to repeat) and then T remarks and corrects if necessary.
T: gives them 3 clocks and asks them to practice in pairs. Some students are asked to practice in front of the class

T: gives a picture and asks:
What is he doing?
What’s the time?
What time does he do?
 T: asks students to make questions with “What time...?” 
What time do you get up?
What time do classes start?
What time do they finish?
What time do you have lunch?
What time do you go to bed?
 T: asks the students to practice in pairs or groups.
 T: corrects if necessary or helps them to practice.
 Ss: practice saying the time of one’s action with their classmates freely.
 Some pairs of students go to the board and write what they have just praticed with your friends.
 T: asks students to give the remarks and structures.
*Pre-listening:
 T: sets up the situation and explain the task to the students “There are some small changes to the schedule on Friday and Saturday. And now you listen and fill in the blanks with subjects and times”
 T: gives the new vocabulary: (some explanation about these words), then review the subjects in school.
*While-listening:
 T: has students listen to the tape the first time.
 T: lets them listen sentence by sentence the second time. (Students can write the answers on their books by pencil.
 Ss: listen again and check the result.
*Post-listening:
 T: has students take a piece of paper and stick on the board and then T corrects their mistakes.
 T: has them copy in their notebooks.
A1 Listen and repeat
*Grammar: 
 Review the way to ask and answer about the time.
A2 Answer about you.
A3 Listen and write. Complete the schedule.
