New lesson: METHOD CONTENT Pre- reading Introduce the passage by using the picture Lead Ss to guess the differences between schools in the USA and schools in VietNam Read through the passage. Explain some new words. Lead Ss to read. Introduce the structure. While-reading Let students read the passage individually. Have two students read the 2 paragraphs before the class. Post-reading Let Ss do the “True/False” exercises. Ask Ss to discuss in groups of four Provide the key and ask Ss to correct the false sentences to check students comprehension. Let students to write the correct sentences in the notebooks. T guides the students to read in chorus and then practice with their partners. T encourges them to learn by heart “play with words” A6.
