+ Know how to describe a student's work in the school by using the simple present tense.

+ Use form, vocabulary to do a math exercise.

II. Contents:

I. Objectives:
- At the end of the lesson pupils will be able to: 
	+ Say about subjects in school.
+ Know how to describe a student's work in the school by using the simple present tense.
+ Use form, vocabulary to do a math exercise.
II. Contents:
1) Vocabulary: use, computer, computer science, tobe interest in, map, experiment, cost, try, question, difficult, know, answer, right, exercise, price, problem, zero, correct, erase.
2) Structures: The simple present tense.
III. Teaching aids:
	- Planning lesson, teacher's and student's books.

1. Warm up:
a) Check the old lesson:
+ Read and translate b4.
b) Warmer:
- Teacher asks pupils some questions: + How many days a week do you go to school?
+ What time you go to school?
+ What time do classes begin?
+ How many subjects do you have?
2. Presentation:
- Teacher introduces the new lesson: In this lesson, you will know how to answer these questions exactly and clearly.
- Get pupils to look at part A1.
- Teacher reads it once first, and then introduces some new words.
- Write new words on the board.
- Guide pupils to get meaning.
- Teacher reads new words once.
- Guide pupils to read new words twice or more.
- Let pupils read new words in silence.
- Call some pupils to read new words.
- Get pupils to repeat form of the simple present tense.
- Get pupils to repeat form of tobe.
- Get them to give examples.
- Get them to say the way to change in to negative and interrogative. (If they don't remember, teacher repeats for them).
- Get pupils to repeats form of V thường.
- Get pupils to give example.
- Get them to say the way to change in to negative and interrogative. (If they don't remember, teacher repeats for them).
3. Practice:
- Get pupils to read A1 in silence.
- Call some pupils to read a1 loudly.
- Get pupils to read a1 in silence again and translate it in to Vietnamese.
- Get them to compare their translation with each other.
- Call some to read loudly their translation.
- Get pupils to work in pairs to ask and answer questions about Mai.
- Get them to compare the answer with each other.
- Call some pairs to ask and answer before class.
- Then teacher corrects.
- Ask pupils some questions:
- Do you like Math?
- Is it difficult or easy?
- Then teacher introduces part A3: You will listen to a conversation in which they are solving a math problem. You read and answer, "How much does one bananas cost?"
- Teacher reads the dialogue once.
- Teacher introduces some new words.
- Write new words on the board.
- Guide pupils to get meaning.
- Teacher reads new words once.
- Guide pupils to read new words twice or more.
- Let's them read new words in silence.
- Call some pupils to read new words.
- Teacher reads part A3 once.
- Guide pupils to read it once.
- Get pupils to read the dialogue in silence in pairs.
- Call some pairs to read the dialogue loudly.
- Get them to read the dialogue and translate it into Vietnamese, and then compare their translation with each other. (In pairs)
- Call some pupils to read loudly their translation.
- Then teacher corrects.
- Get them to answer question "How much does one banana cost?" then compare with each other.
- Get some to give out the answer.
- Then teacher corrects.

	- Planning lesson, teacher's and student's books.
	- Some colored picture about the text.
	- Cassette and tape.

- On Friday morning, Ba and Hoa go to school. Some of the subjects they do on Saturday are the same, but some of them are different. At seven o'clock, Ba has Technology and Hoa has Computer Science. These classes last for two periods. At 8.40, Ba has Geography; Hoa does not have Geography on Saturday. She has Physical Education instead. In the last period, they have the same class. Hoa and Ba both have class activities then.

- Teacher says: in the last lesson you were learned about activities at recess of Vietnamese students. Do you remember?
What do Vietnamese students often do at recess? Do you know what students in other countries / in the USA often do at recess? In order to know exactly what American students usually do at recess, let's learn part b3.

- Teacher reads b3 once, and then gives out some new words.
- Write new words on the board.
- Guide pupils to get meaning of new words.
- Teacher reads new words once.

- Let pupils read new words in silence.
- Call some pupils to read new words aloud.

4. Consolidation:
- Guide pupils to practice: you complete the card in which talk about recess activities. There are your friends' names and activities in the card such as: play soccer, play marbles...Your Job is to ask your friends by these questions to complete the card. What do you usually do at recess? Do you play soccer / skip rope / play marbles / play catch...?
- Then get pupils to sum up to find out which activity is the most common.
- Teacher plays the tape of part b5 and guides pupils to read. 
- Call some pupils to read aloud.
- Then teacher repeats the main content of the lesson.
- Write some new words.
- Read and translate part b1.
