- Ask Ss some questions

- Introduce the lesson, then explain some new words

Practice
- Ask Ss to predict T/F statements
- Ss’ prediction (books closed)
- Call on some SS to give their predictions
- Ask Ss to look at the books, listen to the tape twice and check their predictions

- Have Ss read the text in silent
- Call on some students to read the text aloud
- Correct their pronunciation
- Have Ss read the questions and answers in the book on page 52
- Ask Ss to make 5 questions and answers about Mai
